You won't watch this session. You'll build it. Seven tables, seven worlds, one checklist you write yourselves.

Seven tables, seven worlds

Find your table

You'll sit with people who share your world — and spend the morning solving your problem, not watching someone solve theirs. Pick the table that sounds like your Tuesday.

Table 1

Teacher

AI takes the four hours of paper-pushing; you keep the judgment, the relationship, and the spark.

Table 2

Student

AI that spars with you makes you sharper. AI that writes for you makes you invisible. Learn the difference and prove it.

Table 3

School administrator

Turn the 40-page AUP nobody reads into five sentences everybody follows — with receipts.

Table 4

City council & local government

Staff reports, public comment, records requests. Faster with AI — and provably fair, or not at all.

Table 5

Small business owner

AI does the invisible painful work. You keep every customer-facing moment.

Table 6

Utility & data center

The valley's grid runs on trust. Outage comms, compliance lookups, and what the data centers moving in mean for all of us.

Table 7

Tribal members

Data sovereignty, language, culture. AI that doesn't reach everyone isn't worth the electricity.

5–7 minutes each

The four labs

Same format as the mini-camps: script → tool → likely good outcome → likely bad outcome → teachable moment. Your table does the work; the facilitators ask the questions.

LabYou willThe teachable moment
Break it yourselves Paste an innocent-looking document into a chatbot and watch it obey text you can't see (white-font prompt injection). Check what the machine sees, not what you see.
Sort the failures Take 8 real AI failures — Chevy Tahoe, Air Canada, Workday, CIGNA, Hugging Face — and sort them onto the 6 layers of AiGovOps. Every famous failure is a layer nobody owned.
Your persona's mini-camp Run the 5-minute lab built for your table's world — then produce the bad outcome on purpose. The tool is the easy part. The habit is the rule.
Score your own harms HARMS-assess the exact AI use you just performed: who's affected, worst case, defense, owner, receipt. Reducing risk is a human thought process. You can't hand it to the AI.
